I honestly can’t tell if you hate our sport or hate those who do.
Yawn…
why are you irritating to single sport athtletes in no particular order:
- Compression socks.
- Are not really athletic at all just mediocre at best (only professionals in triathlon are any where close to or can beat upper level amateurs in single sports and even then its a stretch for quite a few)
- One upper over literally everything.
- “scientific data” to back up everything you do (eg even making eggs in the morning.)
- Using aero everything as a crutch for lack of real athletic ability in cycling.
- Ironman everything especially idot tattoos.
- Bragging about number 6 despite you “finnish” a “race” (the definition of race implies you are trying to beat someone not get from point a to b in 17hrs. Anyone can do that with a bit of effort over 6 months time and the desire to not stop moving.)
- Finishers t shirts, medals, certificates, or insert any other pat you on the back labeled object you are handed for showing up and making it across a line 1 to17 hrs later.
- Buying and taking PED’s to do all of the above. Really? You are an amateur athlete in a fringe sport and you won’t ever make any money let alone have anyone other than other triathletes know what you do and or how well you can actually do it, and you are willing to take PED’s at extreme risk to your health for no real reason?
- Number 9 but for $15k bikes, $700 entry fees, $2k+ coaching, and on and on for what real purpose other than spending the money to again “finnish” an ironman.
Now who is going to comment to validate this?
He seems full of hate More than being annoyed.
And he’s troll baiting… He will either get bashed, or get ignored.
Darn it. You Got me. You are validated. I wear compression socks.
“finnish” an ironman.
like the country?
**2. Are not really athletic at all just mediocre at best (only professionals in triathlon are any where close to or can beat upper level amateurs in single sports and even then its a stretch for quite a few) **
So you would agree that Decathletes are not really good athletes?
Yawn…
x2

So you would agree that Decathletes are not really good athletes?. You do realize jesica Ennis a Canadian decathelete made the 100m hurdle final?
Hate to be picky but Jessica Ennis is actually British but your point is valid.
What you stated is irrelevant.
Why most cyclists hates triathletes is when someone shows up on a group ride with tri bars and crash the whole group or part of it.
And…
Wait for it…
the infamous banana hammock.
Well at least you can count to ten, you at least have that going for you.
Otherwise you come off looking pretty stupid. Several misspelled words including the word “triathlete” in the subject.
Also “anywhere” is not two words.
That’s not a good effort on your part.
There is an unofficial rule here on ST that I’m sure you’re not aware of yet. You cannot make fun of Farris in any way, shape, or form. That man is awesome.
I would imagine multisport athletes are the definition of athletic, for one. For two…they aren’t runners or cyclists or swimmers. They are triathletes. Triathlon is a sport. A single sport.
I don’t like saunas or XC skiing. I’m “belgian,” FWIW, if you must ascribe a nationality/ancestry.
Re: #3…is that irony? That’s actually sort of amusing, if so.
And you’re an XTerra athlete? Hasn’t Javier Gomez kicked everyone’s butt at the Worlds despite being new to Xterra? So, we suck, but you suck more.
Just be thankful that many here, despite sucking balls according to you, are healthy…far healthier than the rest of the country. Happy thanksgiving…
I had no idea. Oh well, it wasn’t really about Faris but more about that kit…

idot tattoos!!! Where can I get one of those? Are they for the races sponsored by Apple Inc? At least I’ll be the only one sporting an idot tatto at my next race, I’ll be unique!
English is evidently not your native language. Don’t feel bad.

Buying speed instead of working for it.
Watts are watts and an enema of aero goodies isnt going to magically turn those 150 watts into 300.
Right now im training on a 34lbs mountain bike, why? Because it makes me a rocket when I get back on the (relatively) light road bike.
Because it’s so hard to spell?
