Well, I hate to bring this to the FORUM but I really want to do this TRI!
Unfortunately, my internet connection was down in the past weeks (storms knocked out the lines in my area) and could not register in time for ANN ARBOR. (registration has been closed on May 25, field capped @ 650 for both tri&du compined)
Earlier this year, I had to lay down my running due to an injury (plantar fasciitis) and could not recover in time for the Pinckney Trail-Marathon(1/2), eversince I was looking forward to run the Potawatomi Trail w/ the next occasion… I heard so many good things about this trail, especially from Cheryl Klotkowski & Eric Fernando that it became a “must do”! It was my plan to run it as part of Ann Arbor Tri.
Anyone know how to get in? Anyone not being able to make it to the race? (hopefully not due to health issues)
Call the RD and see if there’s a waiting list. I got into Pigman 1/2 that way last year even though it was sold out earlier. Any change should go through the RD anyway. If it’s a USAT race and you sneak in with someone else’s entry you could get suspended for a year if you’re caught.
I know of someone who is signed up, but is not doing the race, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind giving up his spot. Contact the RD and find out how to transfer the spot to you and I’ll talk to my buddy about giving up his spot.
