Animal skeleton in the yard

Yesterday I found the full skeleton of an animal on our property in the berkshire mnts in western mass. My dad and I took the skull home and I am trying to figure out what it is - I am leaning toward a raccoon but possibly a bobcat or a fox. I googled different images of animal skulls but it is tough to tell from the pics. I am pretty sure it is a younger animal, which I think makes it a little more difficult.
Any vets know of a good website for id’ing this stuff or any tricks?

Post a pic.

post a picture.

Are you sure it couldn’t be a previous owners pet fog or cat?

Describe the teeth.

Post a pic and I’ll do my best.

*Describe the teeth. *

If they are nasty big pointy teeth then it could only be a foul, cruel bad-tempered rabbit with a vicious streak a mile wide. It’s a killer!

Ok, I will do my best to post a pic - I don’t have a digital camera so will have to borrow my brother’s HP -not-very-high-resolution camera in a little while.
It is definitely not a dog.
I really don;t think it is a house cat - head is too big and don’t think the teeth look right as compared to pics on the internet.
This is back in the woods - dirt road, on a lake, not a lot of suburban animals wandering around - we are clearing land to build a house and I found it while picking up sticks + branches. There are lots of racoons, fox, and there have been bobcat sightings.

For the record, the website I referenced has photos of all mammalian species (lemurs even!), which includes multiple photos of each skull from different angles. I’m pretty sure what you have is in there.

I am really leaning toward raccoon. the teeth look right (number and shape) in most of the pictures I see online. I hink the big inscisor tooth in your pic broke off, it is really sharp, not flat.
