I know some of you on here are from the mid-west and have or are doing Stealhead…well I was just looking up his race calender and Andy Potts is going to attend. Hopefully we’ll have the swim this year (although that doesn’t help me any). Based on this guy’s website, he’s 100% bad-ass!

What is the swim course record, Tom? Any bonuses for that?

Probably bike and run course record too.

With a nice calm cool day the 70.3 record could go down. That course is FAST!

Not sure what the swim record is, but we have never had prize money before this year. Professional have done the race, but only 4-5 each year. I’m sure an age-grouper has the record. Z

I think it’s great that there will be a host of pro’s there and that your putting up a purse. It will only help improve the race and is always cool to meet the best in the sport. Thanks Tom…oh yea, and how about that purse at Grand Haven this year:)

I wasnt going to do Steelhead this year because I am doing IMLou at the end of August but I might have to now.

Probably won’t make it out this year. I’ll be living in Denver and working my tail off. Trying to find some Colorado races to do late in the season. Had a blast there last year though!
