Someone in this forum wrote a while ago that the norm would become humans with “enhanced” parts. I can’t believe this would enhance anyone’s life.
Most of the, eh, entertainers at the local titty bar are already enhanced. Does that count?

The emotion patch is certainly creepy, alright. We already have displays mature enough to be products that are as good as or better than the contact lens TVs in some ways - we already have retinal projectors that use low-power coherent light LEDs (aka eye-safe lasers) that beam data directly onto the retina, so the image is formed there rather than in front of it as is done with more conventional displays. You can produce far higher resolution and image quality this way than you ever could with conventional displays.
