Here’s the relevant information in the race flyer’s “Awards” section:
Top 3 Overall Male & Females: $250 - $150 - $125
…
1st Place Age Group Winners: $100 each
Age Groups: 13-19, 20-24, 25-29…
Special Award Divisions: Commemorative Awards:
Top 2 Overall Male & Female Masters 40+
Top 2 Overall Male Clydesdales 200+ lbs.
Top 2 Overall Female Athenas 140+ lbs.
…
Quiz: what award is given to someone who finishes 2nd in their age group but outside the top three, and not in the “special awards divisions”?
I’m gonna guess this is WAY out of skid marks’ league.
Sorry… it was there. Had to take it. No offense, skid marks.

I gotta admit, I have no idea what this means.
(edit: ah, now I get it. If he can’t calculate speed, he can’t possibly figure out a “word problem”, right?)

Jeez Ken, even I got it…
How do you calculate miles per hour again anyway?
A horseshoe and a hand grenade?

Um . . . Nothing?
That’s my guess. Rather odd. Yet they were calling out the top three in each AG at the awards ceremony. I wasn’t paying attention to what was handed out. My “Special Commemorative Award” was a glass mug that says “Award Winner” on it, along with the race logo.

Hello, According to what you posted I see nothing. Some how it seems like your complaining about getting something when you expected nothing.
