I am going up to Mohonk Mountain House tomorrow and thinking of riding the AZ bike course-never rode it before. Question is whether the roads have a lot of traffic, and whether there is a decent shoulder. I would be riding tomorrow late morning-early afternoon. Also, is the run course easy enough to follow with the map from the website. Any other things I should know for my review of the course?
Lucky… enjoy the ride, and yes lots of shoulder, you’ll be fine. There can be a lot of traffic on the weekends, but again, the shoulder is very good.
As for the run, you may or may not be able to navigate from the info on the website. Depends how good you are at orienteering

Yep stick to those for now… if you do venture on one of the trails, and have a good sense of direction, you’ll prolly be ok, just be aware that it’s not totally obvious where to go…
