I also found it quite hypocritical that apparently ISIS took a few thousand christian women and are using them as sex slaves…well at least that was what was said on the radio…which makes about as reliable as this story…which doesn’t mean either of them are real or not real just that I don’t believe much of what I hear or read anymore these days.

I simply don’t get this. How irrational does one have to be in order to figure out a way that “You are doing gods work” against the “Infidels” but hey kidnapping and having sex with them is perfectly AOK in your gods eyes. WTF!?

I would guess for every “sincere” fundamentalist in the bunch there’s just a plane ol’ sociopath/psychopath that is attracted to the abuse of power inherent in the situation and if the Koran is anything like the Bible I’m sure somewhere in there there is either plane as day words to the effect that it is O.K. or words that can be interpreted to say that it is O.K.

Why then would the “Sincere” allow such activity? I mean what would happen at the Westboro Baptist church if they kidnapped 200 homosexuals and forced them to be sex slaves? Do you think “The rest” would sit back and say “Well the Bible seems to say this kind of stuff is perfectly ok”. While I detest the approach of Westboro and completely disagree with their entire belief system even I can’t imagine that happening with them. Kidnapping them and executing them I could see as “Gods work”. Kidnapping them and committing the same “Sin” that you are supposedly fighting against is simply non sensical on every level.

Agree, but at the same point doesn’t logical thought enter into ones “Interpretation” of what they read? When this fails to happen how do the relational individuals not recognize the insanity of the other individuals?

Attractiveness is relative and has nothing to do with it. But why use the term “pinup girl” - is it meant to be derogatory? Pinup girls are like Bettie Page or Jayne Mansfield, women who appear to a broad spectrum of people as strongly representative of the feminine and as sex symbols.

Because they are not all the religious zealots like some would have you believe. Among the crap in some of these Englishmen who joined them, they found Islam for Dummies. These guys are in it for the thrill and excitement that could only be found in the Hoard. So what if they have to subscribe to some religious rules if they can rape, pillage and murder.
Based on different things I have read, I believe a lot more of them are not religious than are. The attraction isn’t religion or fighting for muhammed, it is plane ol fashioned murder.
