Alpha Q True Temper CS 20 insert length?

Need to cut a fork with insert already installed. Would like to chop off 2.5 cm, but will stay at the 2cm recommendation.

Question is over the total length to detemine how much room I can tap the star nut down.

Anyone know the total length as it would be a pain to top it through the bottom of the insert.

Contact True Temper - go thru the website, the tech Q dude answers on his Crackberry…I’m not sure you can cut it though…
