I currently have the Alpha X (not UCI legal), but I’m becoming increasingly more interested in racing some TTs (and possibly a move to road racing full time). With that said, what’s the faster setup?
Obviously if you’re doing TTs you gotta be within uci regs so that’s an easy pick alpha 1!
If you’re TTs aren’t highly check for equip then sure you could do the sperdshop 51 but you know that you’d be cheating… alpha 1 is uci legal and if TTs is all you’ll ever do then I’d be a good sportsman & use legal parts only.
I’ve done TTs where they allow triathlon & TT bikes so if said scenario happens you’ll be fine either way
The 51 bar is UCI legal. It is stock on the Factor Slick, which AG2R raced all last year.
