Fantastic photos! What did you shoot them with? Great closeups on the riders. How hard did you have to battle to get a good spot on the barriers?
Wish I could say that I was an expert camera guy but I just used a trusty Minolta SLR with a decent zoom. I set the shutter speed pretty high, but the camera did the rest.
Getting a barrier spot wasn’t too bad. We were hiking all day and went to the race start about 2hrs beforehand. Probably worse up at the finish or down lower where there were no barriers.
