While I was climbing this weekend (at home not at the alp) I was thinking that if I had a team car to take my lid I would have tossed it!
Got me thinking will the TDF riders wear helmets during the TT?
Well, how does that rule read? if the stage is longer than blah, blah and it ends up a slope of more than blah grade for more than blah distance then the riders may, at the discretion of the official, remove their helmets for an uphill finish…
Interestingly, I think this rule is more for the TV producers than the riders.
