Back in April (or May, I forget), while he was completing a fine Felt presentation to a local bike club, Dave Koesel said that Alberto Contador would win the Tour this year. No joke…great call!

I even wrote it in an email to a few of our dealers and my “industry ink” web journal. I also had Evans in 3rd, and my dark horse was Mayo supported by all the great climbers S-D seemed to have in the Giro lifting him to his former L’Alpe winning glory.

Oh well 2/3 isn’t bad.

I’m looking forward to next year already!

Crazy luck. I guess.

I said Menchov would win this Tour right after the Giro finished and it was confirmed Astana was 100% excluded from the TdF.
I also suggested S-D would be tossed for positive doping on last week’s ride.

I hope I’m wrong about Mechov!
