Did this last week…
Sat down in front of the computer and snacked on wasabi peas. Felt like a run so I downed a little coffee and headed out the door. Oh the burning gurgle in my belly that day!
Yesterday…
woke from a nap and had some mellon with cayenne and lime juice (try this it’s good!). Realized I had an hour window and could fill it with a needed swim.
The sloshing acid pool in my stomach made itself apparent with every flip turn.
As much as I love Thai food a few weeks ago, had some curry soup (Tom Kha Gai) and spicy noodles before an hour and a half run. Felt like crap the entire run, actually I think I had to make a quick circle back to the hacienda to take a crap 10 min into the run.
I ate spaghetti before a hard night of drinking! Most of it came up that night over the porch, but was going in the morning. I think the apartment cats woke up with a hang over.
As far as pre training eats, don’t do Flaming Hot Cheetos!
After having mucho beer and other alcoholic beverages, I just ordered a pizza. we will see how that sits for my 50 mile ride tomorrow. BTW, I’m going out tomorrow night, too, with an 8am swim session, followed by yoga, and then another bike run. Fun, fun!
