By the way, in the spirit of non sequitors and general oddity, this weekend, I forgot my towel at the pool and had to dry off with paper towels after my shower. That was after I beaned some guy one lane over trying to do the butterfly. My hand still hurts and he was still rubbing his face 20 min. after it happened. The whole experience ended when I was walking out and some guy following me asked me: “What’s a nice girl like you doing in a cushioned shoe like that?” Weird gait, I said. Weird morning, I thought.
