I think you just made all Airborne owners heart skip a beat. Maybe you should change your title to Airborne is renamed or something.
There website is still up and they are taking orders. Are you sure that this is not another company. They have none of the same bikes that Airborne has.
Nope…I just checked out the address…its the old “Airborne”. Their warehouse is about 3 miles west of my house in Springboro, Oh. Wonder why they would ditch all of their old designs? Strange…

I will put money down that they have started up a sister company and are going to start doing aluminum with carbon and leave Airborne as a Ti company. If this is the case it is a very smart move. Seperate the brands, and offer something different. Look at the pricing as well. Great deals.
The new Flyte site says this:
Footnote: As of August 30, 2005 Airborne products will no longer be offered for sale in North America.
There are some super deals on the new site…there is a ti bike called the “Defiant” that goes for $2968 with DA10, and weighs 14.36 pounds.

You are correct - they are going with aluminum and carbon as the “Flyte” name - just had a friend stop by the “factory” and take a look. Also picked up some nice Ti skewers for $15.
