Has any of the many top AG’s on here felt pressure to dope or have doped and why?
Has anyone thought of doping just for a Kona spot?
Isn’t doping really expensive?
I think a cycle of EPO runs $1000 give or take.
Personaly I wouldn’t do it cause of the negative side effects and the fact that I wouldn’t feel good about myself from the tainted race results, however,
If I were a Pro , and my livelyhood depended on it,and I was pressured from my team , and it meant me not being able to race,I admit I would consider it.
I also don’t look down on dopers cause of this,who am I to judge them? It’s a personal issue.
Remember the greatest cyclists of all time doped.
Marco Pantani,Jan Ullrich,Erik zabel,Riis,etc,
They would still be the greatest cyclists who ever lived without the drugs in my opinion.
There are people on this forum who’ll spend $10,000 on carbon widgets to shave a few seconds and you don’t think they’d spend a few grand to shave a few minutes?
Lately I’ve been feeling a LOT of pressure to dope…
If I could just find that one thing… that little edge…
I might even be close to as fast as I could be if I trained!
