Aging clothes?

Anyone have tips for aging clothes? I’m not looking to “distress” them with holes or anything, just soften and fade a little. I have a set of old BDUs, and the tops are ripped and need to be replaced, but not the bottoms. A new top will look weird with the faded bottoms, so I wanted to see if there was a cheap easy way to age the tops a little so it wasn’t so obvious.

Just curious. Otherwise, I’ll just buy new pants as well.

Throw them into the washer with every load of laundry you do for the next couple of weeks. They should fade fast, especially if you use warm water.

come on out to the farm, we’ll put you to work in 'em for a week or two; that’ll do it.

or send 'em off to the AAFES cleaners and ask for Heavy Starch every other day for two weeks…
