After All the U.S. Has Done For the French, Why Do They Hate Us So--Francois--No Need to Respond

Lance is the best. Face it. He beat all the dopers whether he was doped or not. Go USA!!!

You forgot to add the USPS/Discovery are the greatest cycling team in the history of the sport.

I like what Bob Roll said when asked what his favorite part of Paris was. He said something like “the Charles De Gaulle Airport and the exit ramps…”

Dick, is it you?

I find it amusing that a guy from Oakland doesn’t like Paris.

Chances are he beat some non-dopers too…not so woo-hoo if he was dirty…

But in answer to your question, it’s because you invented deodorant

Are you getting professional help for your -oh so american- paranoia?

Oakland is to Paris as a BBQ sandwich is to a truffle. They are both great to certain groups of people, but few can appreciate both.
Oh, and one is really snobby.

Because we are so subtle?

Because we are so subtle?

You might be onto something now…

I think it has to do with French Fries and French Toast. First they were disgusted we named these delecacies after them and were pissed about that. Then came 9/11 and Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast and they were very upset to loose the claim to these once poo-pooed morsels. Now that they have the names back they are even more upset…

Why has Slowman has not CANNED THIS THREAD?

I guess the trinity agrees that low life comments are in order, as long as they are popular with the sheep.

the well educated french are still mad we didn’t let the nazi keep their piece of shit country, instead of turning it over to the commie socialists.

ingineer?

I believe an ‘ingineer’ is like an engineer except fatter and more ignorant.

you guys can crack on the French all you want, but remember who funded the American revolution against England.

“you guys can crack on the French all you want, but remember who funded the American revolution against England.”

that buys the french a lifetime free pass as far as i’m concerned. plus, they bankrupted their own country in doing so.

france rocks. for the last three weeks we’ve been watching the tour de … what? imagine locking down park avenue for a whole day for a bike race. and having all of new york come out and watch it.

my favorite triathlon of all time was the “old” nice triathlon. was at that race 4 times. wonderful country. lovely people. spectacular food, and history, and geography, and roads, and architecture, culture.

now, for most of the past 15 years we’ve arguably had better national leaders than the french. but recently we gave up that belt, and the french have their best leader in half a century, and we are enjoying our worst.

so, my friends, no, the french bike racers are not as good as americans at this particular point in time. but they’ve got us in most other categories at the moment. we may have better wine, i don’t know, probably not, but that’s an open question.

Perhaps we should do a little research on that matter. I have a little free time starting Sunday.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

I’m personally going to lower your page views by about a thousand a day for that

food - France
cars - dishonorable draw
wine - France
women - I’m married to a yank so am disqualifying myself from this one…
sports - France (they didn’t have to invent any stupid ones of their own and they have le tour)

Of course England has the best everything. Especially food. And wine.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!”

you’re still smarting about losing the colonies? but then you expatriated yourself… so…
