I’d check with you local silkscreener and see if they can do it or what they recommend. They will probably want the artwork as a vector art file (EPS or AI file).
I’ve used Winskins (winskinsprinting.com) printing a number of times and have been happy. They’ve turned around a jersey in one day for me, as well.

Richard-
Very cool website and company. Did you do a very small order (like a singlet and tech shirt for ex)? How much did it cost? Most of the other places I’ve seen you have to do a huge order. Is that the case with these guys?
I represent triathletes. We have tried all kinds of things for the athletes. The best process is called sublimation. Silk screening is cost prohibitive, unless you are talking about a one color logo. It is something like $25 just to set up the screen per color. The iron on stuff won’t last, even if professionally done. Go to bikeatac.com. This is the only place I found that would do sublimation for just one shirt that was less than $100. It is $75 for one shirt, but it will last, look good, and look professional. It takes a few weeks, so if you don’t need it right away, that’s the way to go.
