Aero helmets with visors

I am sick of sweat on the sunglasses, and living in Arizona, headbands don’t help.
Do the visors on aerohelmets collect sweat too?

If you drip sweat on it, im pretty sure almost anything will leave a mark… Mine isn’t in a position to get “dripped on” so it stays clean, but it fogs up sometimes if it is really humid and hot…

Mine does. LAS Chrono with a visor. I ride head down, fairly aggressive…the visor is no different than sunglasses in that it catches the sweat. It’s actually a bit worse with the visor as there’s less ventilation…so more sweat drips down. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but it was noticeably hotter with the visor on.

I used the visor for about 3 rides…now I’m back to using sunglasses.

That is too bad. Thanks for the input

I had an LAS and couldnt stand it. Loved the visor, but it had virtually no ventilation. I love the Specialized TT helmet and it looks like the new model will have a visor and also the ability to block some of the vents if you want.

You could just get a pair of tinted goggles, and swim, AND bike, AND run with them. Would definitely save some transition time.

I use RainX wipes and have no issues with my visor, I installed the LG visor on my Specialized TT02.

Where are you getting that information on a new Specialized TT helmet? I know the TT3 has been out for a while, but not to the public. Are you referrring to something else?

Tried sweat gutr?

Only downside I have is the ugly tanline.

I tried a visor one year and it sometimes fogged. With glasses you can remove them . With a visor you could not. It got real hard to see sometimes. Anything new that helps this ?

I got the LG, but same deal: Less ventilation = more sweat, and you can’t just reach up to wipe it off before it runs into your eyes either. After the first couple tries, I’ll only use it for ~20K or less now (maybe slightly longer if it’s a stand-alone TT so my head isn’t already waterlogged from swimming) if it’s relatively cool and not at all if it’s hot out.
