Ask the MIT chic on the board ![]()
Depends upon one’s position, but most will point to the LG Rocket - at least 1/2 the field at the TTT was wearing one
.
The Spiuk Kronos should be shipping w/in the next week or so:
I hate to give the stock annoying ST answer, but supposedly, the right aero helmet depends upon the individual as far as maximal gains.
That said, I believe the rocket will be the fastest helmet, of those you have listed, for the majority of individuals. I bought one 3 weeks ago. I have found that it takes off 3-4 seconds per mile on rolling to flat terrain.
But if you race tri’s in Pittsburgh you are much better off without it and racing on Tufo tires ![]()
Supposedly the new Spiuk helmet has had some impressive tunnel results, but it might not fit large “Sputnik-sized” heads as it only comes in one size. Also pricey.
The word on the street is that those Rudy Helmets aren’t to spectacular.
Spiuk looks damn cool!
I want it NOW!!!
Rocket looks good…
I wont be racing in Pitt anytime soon. And if I did, I would still use my tufo tubie clinchers!
Add the Limar Crono your options list, I have one and love it…
