Not having access to try on a variety of aero helmets for fit, I would like to try and avoid too many costly mistakes.
I have a fairly narrow and high forehead, if I keep my head low the tail is up on the few helmets that I have tried even if I am not looking down.
I think I need a fairly narrow helmet with a short tail that is considerably lower than the brow? If that is the case which helmets would be the best in this respect?
Something like this?

Thanks but I was hoping to get the ears covered and tail close to my back.
maybe the new rudy helmets. They have a much shorter tail than most of the aero lids out there. I’d also say from my experience that keeping the tail down is a combination of how you put the helmet on and really forcing yourself to keep your head up.
The Rudy Wingspan has an adjustable retention system that allows the helmet to ride lower/higher on the forhead whch then forces the tail into the optimum position. It cna move the tail down by a couple inches.
Rudy Project Wingspan is awesome.
I think it will fit what you’re looking for here.
Thank you all for the advice I had read somewhere that the wingspan is a little wide? I like the idea of the adjustable pitch though.
How would the Lazer Tardiz compare?
