Aero Helmet (1)

Hi, I’m about to purchase an aero helmet, I have this 2 options, Limar Crono and LG Rocket.

Can you guys give an opinion on this two helmets or other helmets?

I asked about the Rudy Project Syton last week and got a few replies that people really liked it, and since it was in the X-mas gift budget range I had the family order one for me (with 15% discount from Tri-Sports). Maybe take a look at it?

I have the Limar Crono. It is comfortable and there is a noticable difference in speed. But with the Giro Advantage II coming out for '07 I will spend the $150 and get it. I beleive it is much more aero than what I have. Good luck with your purchase.

I have the LG Rocket and like it. I think they are all good and it comes down to personal preference.

gottaride (http://www.gottaridebikes.com/) carries both helmets and they just finished a killer sale on their helmets. I’ll bet if you ask them they’ll give you the discounted price. Also, they give you 10% off of your first order. No, I have no affiliation with this company.

I bought the Limar from them – choosing the silver (which I think is more of a pearl white) over the carbon black (I think fake carbon looks cheesy). The helmet fits fine and I’m assuming works the way it is supposed to. I also bought the Limar chrono lens which sticks to the helmet with nothing more than little stick pads. It fell off several times before I resorted to superglue. Not great quality, IMO.

I have the Louis Garneau Rocket helmet and love it.
