Have many of you taken off your road bars and put on an integrated aerobar setup with TT brake levers and TT shifters?
Is it something that can be done by yourself or would you recommend taking it to the shop? If the shop, any estimate on cost?
I currently have a Cervelo Soloist, which I am riding in the TT position with clip on aero bars but in my thread re: help me spend my money, someone suggested the integrated aerobar setup, which I am no considering.
My current groupset is Shimano 105, and some questions related to that are: Would the SRAM TT brake levers work with this setup? They go for a reasonable price on Ebay… Would the SRAM R2C shifters (read the good reviews) work on this setup?
It appears that you could get a decent Vision aerobar setup with TT shifters and TT brake levers for approx. $750 on ebay and would then wonder what the cost at the shop would be.
Any thoughts on the above or good recommendations for picking up a reasonably priced set-up, including anyone selling something reasonable that would work on my setup?
Thanks Everyone,
Clint
