Aero bars with lowest stack

Which are the lowest? Hed, felt devox? Something else?

My guess would be either Easton Attack or other similar bar which has the pads mounted directly onto the top of the bar without any hardware. The Zipp Vuka Aerobar may also be close.

Vuka is really low. Ventus is really high, by comparison.

Vuka is NOT low. The Vuka Bull is 4.8cm, Vuka Aero is 4cm. Ventus is 5cm.

HED is 2cm.

Lowest is either Easton Attack or Pro Missile. The Felt Devox is also quite low and is the bar I’d get if I wanted a really low stack bar. It’s the best really low stack aerobar out there right now.

My 09 Devox bar is about 18mm arm-rest to centreline of stem clamping area, so armrests basically inline with the top of the stem. I think this is lower than the Eastons as last time I saw a set I noted that they are very low but built up slightly under the armrest pads - probably only a few mm difference.

This is with the stock 1 spacer present between basebar and armrest.

I agree that the Felt bar is the nicest option, but the truly LOWEST stack option is probably the ITM Nivola:

I’d imagine Walther makes the lowest stack bars. Have fun getting your hands on them.

These will probably be the lowest stack you will find:

Figured I would revive this thread, what is the lowest stack aero bar around. Let’s divide this into two categories:

1- Lowest stack bar that you can think of but will have to be hunted like a white tiger.

2 - Lowest stack aerobar that I can take a credit card and buy today.

Thanks

You’re still going to have a hard time beating the Felt Devox and you can order it from the Felt website today and have it probably Friday.

Felt Devox is low-stack, but takes some digging to find. Vision (26.0mm clamp) with the Micro-SL Pads (2mm spacer/shim) have about 3cm from clamp center to the top of the pad.

The Tri Rig alpha might be a contender. 799$ with availability in July-ish.

Is this the newest thing close to the devox?

Anyone have any more photos of how this thing functions. Felt website sells them but offers almost no details on the setup.

If you use a sloping base bar then you can use the cheap vision clip on without the pad spacer. You will just need a few washers to fit them on.

The Pro Missile Evo you can put the pad on top of the bar and the extensions bellow the base bar. Best guest a stack above the stem of 1cm.

That is what I have on my current ride and am starting to realize that it is a pretty good solution and a pretty inexpensive one. I wish I could find another old aluminum vision bar like the one I have, I see pads/extensions available, but not that old airfoil bar.

I would love to use the alpha from tririg, but that is going to cost 4 times as much and not be avialable for at least a month or two.

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the feedback…I recently had a fit and increased my drop by 4cm, went from a 70mm -6* stem to a 90mm -17* stem, raised my seat post by 2cm and also need extremely low stack aero bars (currently on 3T Aura), Zipp Vuka or Felt were suggested…as much as I’m a Zipp loyalest, I think I’ll go with the Felt Devox.
