For my last two triathlons and duathlon I’ve decided on running clincher tubes treated with “slime” sealant. My thinking is maybe if I flat I’d be able to use a co2 cartridge to air it and keep on going in a sprint or oly race.
Yes, the sealant makes the tubes very heavy but I think the anti flat prospect overshadows the weight penalty.
My real question is this; in addition to added weight will the wheels suffer from added rolling resistance?
