I am looking for feedback from people that have switched to the Adamo racing saddle - that are NOT taint / nose of the saddle riders. I ride most of the time on my sit bones and try not to put much if any pressure on the taint - which means I don’t ride on the nose of the saddle. I am wondering how I might adapt to the adamo - letting the ‘boys’ hang off the front…
Any feedback / thoughts???
For what its worth - I am riding a Koobi tri saddle and haven’t had major numbness issues, just trying to be preventative…
I am same as you. I never had any numbness issues. The main benefit has been the elimination of saddle sores. I would get them from being in the arero-bars. But, not any more. It was a joy last summer training for an IM and never having any saddle sore issues!
I’m not a “nose rider” typically and switched to the Adamo Typhoon after being on a Profile Tri Stryke with cutout before that. I need a softer saddle and the Typhoon has plenty of padding, unlike the race and road versions. It sounds like you’re looking to throw money at something that isn’t a problem. How exactly would the adamo improve you if you’re not having any issues? Bear in mine it’s going to be uncomfortable at first, is a b to get adjusted properly, and is likely heavier than the saddle you currently have.
