I currently have a really worn ADAMO ISM road race saddle on my tri bike, I just picked up a new road bike and want to get another one of these seats, but the names and models have been changed quite a bit since I purchased my seat. I run a 134mm width saddle, is the new Adamo race the same seat as I currently have? Also, I noticed they have a new tri specific seat, what’s the difference b/w the tri and the race? Anyone have experience with their tri model seat??

I have all 3, Road, Race, and TT. The Road is 135mm wide and has Gel padding (and foam) and chro-moly rails. The Race is 130mm wide and has less gel padding, and Ti rails. I make more positive contact with my sitbones using the Race. The TT is similar to the race, the difference is that the nose is rounded instead of square. My current thought is to borrow the Road off my road bike for my tri bike for half and full, and the TT/Race for sprint and olympic distances. The Cobb Plus saddle didn’t work for me.
For a road bike though I’d stick with the Road model. I haven’t tried any of their other models.
I’m going to stick with the race and get a 2nd one, it’s been on my tri bike for years, and I’ve enjoyed riding it on my road bike too, I guess the old motto if it aint broke don’t try to fix it.
