Local seller parting with this Accell 11 Falcon disc wheel. Any comments or experiences.
Not the prettiest of wheels but rock solid. Decent weight too but not as light as they claim (well they are…without a hub). Hubs spic very well but not Zipp, Corima, or Hed well.
They are the biggest piece of crap ever made. They are light, but they are made from kevlar and have a super light rim. Hub looks pretty ghetto and homemade- uses a bunch of spacers on the non-drive side of the axle- seems like it would not be very stable. Trueness and roundness is not very good. I had one years ago but sold it because I thought it would blow up on me.
I would echo exactly what Bootsie said…in summary a piece of junk. Piss poor customer service as well. Do your self a favor and steer clear…
