Has anyone else noticed how many lurkers have jumped at the chance to come out of the closet and post pictures? I keep checking the thread for shots of the regulars whose posts I read on here all the time. Not seeing too many of them. But I guess it’s good that lots of new folks are breaking the ice.

As a lurker, I think people post their pictures because that is something they can contribute. On the pother hand if there is post about the compatibility between campy shifters and shimano this or that, and we don’t know we won’t post because we don’t have anything to add.
I thought the same thing… who are all of these people and where did they come from???

On a (somewhat) related note, I’ve been wanting to post some position pics as I’m doing the state time trial in 2 weeks and I’ve never taken good photos of my current setup. I’m just skeered of the comments. 
I think a lot of us have posted pics in the past and unlike Mike C, I don’t have any great race pictures (though I keep hoping for that miracle shot). That said, on my way to work this morning, a guy in a big silver truck with a 140.6 and USAT sticker passed me on the freeway. He had these long sideburns and I thought, hey, I think I’ve seen that guy before. Made me want to surf the picture threads to figure it out.
I don’t know if you noticed, but only beautiful people have posted their pictures. Oh, well, and those who thick they are beautiful, but…you get the idea. Ugly folk have remained on the sidelines of that particular thread. Yet, sooner or later everyone will get a chance to shine on ST, if only they stay positive.

I’m waiting for the thread where we’ll identify which Slowtwitchers are fatties, and tell them all about how they’re not only sabotaging their tri career with that extra 10 pounds of flab, they’re also personally endangering the national health care system.
I recently turned states evidence against Tony Soprano and currently in witness protection. He’s facing some heavy time, so no picture from me.

Gee - given I have never thought of myself as part of the beautiful people or even particularly photogenic - I guess I can take that as a compliment? Actually I went and looked through the rest of the photos after I posted and thought “Crap, the only thing hairy than me are the dogs - and I may even have that pug beat.”
Actually I was just hoping to recognize people when I went to Timberman, which will be my first half and my first really major event outside the local Viriginia circuit.
