i cannot find this banner. we have one spot on the entire slowtwitch site that features a banner zone we allow to be served remotely, and that is the 728x90 at the top of this page. but we’ve given strict instructions, no popunder, popup, page takeover, no sound, no floating boxes, nothing except vanilla ads. i’ve clicked on the page about 30 times and cannot find this banner. if it comes up again – if anyone sees it – can you let me know?

i cannot find this thing. my finger is cramping hitting the reload button so many times. i wonder if it is served geolocal to some of you? i’m hoping somebody placed it there mistakenly, then saw the mistake and removed it. so what i meant to say is, don’t tell me if you saw it some time ago, tell me if you saw it since my post. because i cannot get it to run.

this one “slipped past the radar” according to the org that serves the banner. i apologize on behalf of them, and on behalf of us. this is strictly against the rules we lay down for the one entity we allow to serve one banner zone on our site (we serve all the others ourselves) and it should never have happened.
Why on earth would you guys surf at work with the sound on?! We had the sound wars here long ago, complete with links that shouted “Hey everybody! I’m surfing gay porn over here!” at super loud volume. My speaker’s on permanent mute.

Ha - I remember that one, and generally have the sound off at all times. In this particular instance however, I was at home taking an 07:00 conference call. I had the sound on because I was watching that South Park “Beefcake” episode last night and forgot to turn it off…

yeah but do you get a higher cpm on that one? if that’s how you get paid…
usually a good idea to always have sound turned off…
