Just to thank all those who responded to my posts last week on race wheels…
Ended up going with a disc. While I may have gone the expensive route with Zipps. I did manage to save over 20% on the 2005 retail purchase price only because they had not updated there website and they were nice enough to honor their advertised price… Noticed over the weekend they did update there website to reflect current 2005 pricing.
So for 1499.00 flat, a set of 2005 Zipp 909’s are on there way and should be at my door this week.
New reason to train my ass off… Can’t be on a set of 909’s and get passed by a spoked wheel!
