Anyone owning a Montello FM1 or FP8… What do you love/hate about your bike (feedback)?
I got my FM1 last October. I absolutely love it…there’s nothing to dislike. It’s one of the sexiest frames out there. The geometry was on the money for me, using the 2 degree seatpost. Took her to the wind tunnel after building it up, and having the best winter training so far. The build quality of the frame is the best I’ve ever seen.
I am in my 3rd year on Montello ownership. Absolutely love it. If you like going way forward, it is probably not the bike for you, but I don’t - and have found it great! Nice ride, very responsive (best ever!), and the looks are just awesome! The only negatives I have found are that no one really want to ride with me when I take it to group rides, and it does not clean itself. 
I have seen a few issues with the TT seatposts recently (in general - more ft1/ft3), so you do need to check the tightness/ cut length on the seatpost - both the frame clamp and the seat clamp…
