A running tidbit that has helped me a lot

I read this somewhere and it is helping me with my run.

“Your feet should strike the ground on the outside middle (not the heel), and your weight should then immediately roll forward toward your toes”

I have been trying to land mid-foot but have been landing flat on my feet. After a while my feet would tire and I would wind up slamming my heel on the ground after landing mid-foot. This idea changed my thinking of landing mid-foot to more of a roll and it has been working quite well for me.

I hope this can help someone else as much as it has helped me with landing mid-foot.
