thanks bro

wait, are you changing your handle too?
that Atheists will indeed burn in hell.
Now that is uncalled for and likely untrue.

my friend - it is true. However, the ‘burning in hell’ only lasts a very short while, it only seems like an eternity - and everyone has to go through it
that Atheists will indeed burn in hell.
perfectly reasonable. my kids know the second they dont follow one of my rules that im going to torture them in unimaginable ways until the day i die because thats what a loving parent does. or so you would have us believe.
thanks for the reminder.
Romans 3:23

i realize that you find these scriptures somehow relevant to real life but i do not. despite reading the bible cover to cover.
would it be beneficial to the conversation or sway you in any way if i were to cite quotes out of the god delusion?
My responsibility is to simply let you know how i feel. Past that its completely your life. The fact you jumped straight to that based off me only saying a bible verse is a true testament to the fact you just want to attack my religion. I didnt imply anything, you did. Personally i dont like how the OP went at you guys. Its not our place nor is it yours to come at us.
and with that attitude, you’ll be reborn as an animal.
Sorry, no concise scripture reference.

I got it for you. Luke 6:37 for the OP
that Atheists will indeed burn in hell.
That’s not what he told me.

see this is where youre wrong. ive got problems with all religions. varying degrees of course. i have less of a problem with jains that i do with christians or muslims but ive got problems with all of them. actually, we have that in common. you disbelieve all those religions too. id bet for many of the same reasons i do.
we think alike you and i, more so than makes you comfortable i would imagine. youre almost completely atheist! you have no belief for all the thousands of gods except for one. we just disagree on that one out of thousands!
Obviuosly heaven and hell do not exist, but some may say that according to the bible heaven is hotter than hell. So I guess I’ll no longer have to put up with your stupidity and I’ll be more comfortable as well.
"The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads,
“Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days.”
Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (forty nine) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation
(H/E)4 = 50
where E is the absolute temperature of the earth, 300°K (273+27). This gives H the absolute temperature of heaven, as 798° absolute (525°C).
The exact temperature of hell cannot be computed but it must be less than 444.6°C, the temperature at which brimstone or sulfur changes from a liquid to a gas. Revelations 21:8:
" But the fearful and unbelieving… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone."
A lake of molten brimstone means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, which is 444.6°C. (Above that point, it would be a vapor, not a lake.)
We have then, temperature of heaven, 525°C (977°F). Temperature of hell, less than 445°F). Therefore heaven is hotter than hell."

So you say thats where im wrong and go on to say you have a problem with my religion? If you think you being a atheist bothers me or i cant be friends with them your wrong. most of my friends are atheist, they talk about why they dont believe, and i listen. As Christians we shouldnt be hanging out with our “kind” (not saying you cant have christian friends), but we are to be with the people who need help. At one point in my life i wasnt sure either. I pray you find a similar path. One day i will have to answer for the words ive said as well as the ones i didnt say in fear of offending some man.
I believe this is where this thread gets out of hand. Id love to have a clear and calm conversation with atheist on here with no arguing, both way. Simply saying how they feel, not telling other people what they should do. I think it would be useful for both sides. Even as a Christian on here, Im sick and tired of so called “Christians” attacking people as much as atheist attacking us.
Two words: Deathbed confession!
Oh yeah suckers…

go back and read the conversation again. i dont think you are following.
Dude, don’t be so serious. If you want a real discussion about why I think the way I do PM me. If you want “tongue in cheek” and poor attempts at humor keep reading my posts! (5% of my involvement in this forum is for enjoyment. I do not take the attacks against me personally, and hope others do not as well. I may come of as brash, but that is my M.O. My humor is dry.
I would suggest nobody has attacked anything.
Me pointing out that you believe a complete fiction is not an attack.
You pointing out that I am going to go to hell is not an attack.
These are just claims, one or none of them is correct.
One or both of them are wrong.
