I’m getting fitted tomorrow on my new road bike, will they care what kind of shirt I wear? Does it make it any easier for them if I wear a tighter shirt?
I told you it was a dumb question.
Haven’t you ever heard? There are no dumb quest…well, maybe there are after all.
All kidding aside, I don’t think it matters, but I would go with a tighter fitting one to ensure nothing gets in the way of measurements. I don’t know how detailed they’ll be, but you might as well make it as easy for them to be accurate as you.
Happy Friday!

Shirt no. But remember to wear your cycling shorts.
I would definitely wear tighter cycling clothing. Allowing the fitters to more easily see your body position and joints will facilitate the whole process.
Wear whatever you intended on riding your road bike with on a regular basis.
It depends. Do you have moobs (man boobs)? If so, a loose shirt is preferable. If not, a tight shirt will not provide any distraction so it would be acceptable. Enjoy your FISTing!
Yes, it makes it easier if you wear a tighter shirt.
