I never really liked Chad Ochocinco that much (partly because of his silly name) but this was a class move.
Everything I’ve ever heard about him makes him seem like a very class act. Sure, he’s got a penchant for childish fun on the field, but that only seems to be a problem in the No Fun League. He’s one of the good guys.
Agreed, I don’t understand why these guys can’t live a clean life. They get paid a ton of money for a sport, why on earth would you risk losing the job because you were stupid. It isn’t like these guys don’t know if they are doing something wrong.
There are quite a few class acts out there they just don’t hit the news. One of my idols Emmet Smith, never heard much about him in the news. Jerry Rice, Scotty Pippen to name a couple.
He’s a class act. He does tons of community stuff here in Cincy and has never been in trouble. The article summed it up nicely. He performs the same on field shennanigans that TO and others do, but it does come off as entertainment rather than egotistical.
