In fairness to BC, the post he responded to said “fucking don’t mock, doubt, or cast blame on women who report sexual assault.”
It didn’t specify that the poster was only talking about not mocking or doubting Taylor Swift.

Oh give me a break. There is nothing wrong or immoral to question someone’s accusations of sexual assault. For you to lump doubt in with mocking and blaming is immature.
Without any witnesses this seems like a classic he said, she said incident so I have no idea how on earth can the trial last 9 days? It does seem really strange to me that while a stranger has his hand up her skirt and is holding on to her ass she would stand there and smile for a photo. I would think human MALE nature would be to freak out but who knows.

On my comments about the picture not looking right, it has no bearing on Swift’s claim and was not making any suggestions otherwise to the validity of her story.
For all I know this picture was floated out out on the Internet and picked up by TMZ and is fake and has nothing to do with the actual trial. My comments were only directed at the picture circulating on the Internet and not meant in anyway to cast doubt on her story.
It seems it was used as evidence (I think?), found that out later. But my comments stand about the picture. It looks borked up and I believe it to be doctored. I also believe Taylor was groped.
I have the capacity to believe both of these thing simultaneously, based on the very limited information I have being reported by our trusted Media outlets. Shocker.

Back in 1978 I was bussing tables at a truck stop, one of truckers did an ass grab. As a guy, I was shocked, but just got away as quick as possible. I did tell others about it so they could be careful around that table. But I did not call the guy out at the time. I can understand how the immediate reaction is not to punch the guy. Maybe if that happened often you would be more prepared and ready to punch. But when caught by surprise that is not necessarily something you think of.

Fair, but it’s hard not to cast doubt and investigate at the same time. If you do not doubt her allegations, why bother with an investigation at all. If you do not doubt her allegations but investigate anyways, you are essentially saying the man is guilty until proven innocent.
I think sexual assault/harassment allegations should be taken seriously. But it is an area with a shit ton of grey area involved and I believe that you should wade in to it carefully and with a level head, ideally showing no bias toward trusting one party over the other.

Looks like a drunken ass grab alright, but not the *bare *ass grab she alleges. The sides of her skirt would be rumpled upwards/pulled back if the back of the skirt had been pulled up for a bare ass grab. I think she exaggerated at the inception of this saga and she is now trapped in her exaggeration. No excuse for the guy’s conduct, but she’s not being totally honest either.
Something looks photo-shopped in that picture. In the picture the girl in yellow’s chest is in front of Taylor…but if you follow that line between them down further, Taylor’s skirt is in front of the other girl and its flared out and does not look natural. And it even looks like Taylor’s thigh goes behind the other girls jean leg (which would make sense if the other girls upper torso is in front of Taylor). Something is off there. Almost like someone drew in part of her black skirt to be in front of the other girl. Not sure.
Also, look at the gap where here badge is hanging down, where the silver clip is. You see black, between there and the girl in yellow. Based on Taylor’s body line, you should be able to see the white billboard behind that space.
Maybe it is just a very weird and awkward position, but I’m thinking something is fishy. That picture has been definitely doctored. And if that portion was doctored, I wonder if the other lines were touched up between Taylor and the DJ.

Knowing what I know about litigators, I could picture the guy’s lawyer demanding to inspect the skirt and demanding that she wear it to demonstrate how it lays on her ass. I could even picture the guy requesting that she model the skirt and recreate her pose to demonstrate that the skirt was not hiked up in the back. I’m not kidding.

The blonde lady has both boobs in front of TS yet the latter appears to have her right leg partially in front while standing upright with legs that look straight and parallel.
Also the contrast in hair looks very sharp. Is it common for celebs to put heads side by side (touching) with strangers?

I disagree. It appears to be a very light, loose fitting skirt. It is pleated, so, it “opens” like a fan. You could easily reach up the back without disturbing the front. TS was wearing thong underwear, which are quite common. That could result in a bare-ass grab.
