In-depth information on the role of a military lawyer in a combat zone. It’s a little right-wingish, but it’s in line with the information that my wife (who could make Pat Buchanan look like a wussy-boy when she’s of a mind
sends to me about local conditions over there.
Interesting stuff in these blogs, thanks for the link. Surprisingly, I found what I read of the Dagger Jag blog to be surprisingly lacking in right wing sentiment. And I like to think I have a good nose for it. Definitely get different stories than what is reported here.
Also found the Iraq blogs interesting…this is from the “Letter to America”
"More enlightened beings argue thus: America is a democracy. The government is selected by the majority of the people. People control the government. That means the government reflects the will of the people. Therefore the American people approve of all this!
The problem is that the answer coming back is not favorable to America. You can blame them as much as you like, but America is seen as evil by most people in Iraq today. Pure and simple! I honestly don’t know whether that can be rectified now. That depresses me. But I am sure of one thing: it will not be rectified by more bombing and killing."
Obviously just one Iraqi’s point of view, but their reasoning is understandable if they know nothing else but that we are a “democracy”.
