A BIG thank you to Slowman and Arthur Lydiard

Background: crappiest runner EVER. Could barely survive 15 minute miles for 30 minutes. Painful to watch, excruciating to live. A death march through and through.

As of today: ran for 23 minutes, first 9 at 6.3 mph, next 10 at 6.5, last 4 at 6.7 !!! And, I was not in pain or uncomfortable enough to stop. I was actually running with good form. My legs just “knew” what to do. It was unbelievable.

I started Slowman’s “just run faster to run faster” program about 9 weeks ago, combined with frequent readings of a free pdf Arthur Lydiard book I got online http://www.fitnesssports.com/lyd_clinic_guide/lydpg2.html

If you think you can’t run, well, you are just wrong! If I can learn anyone can.
