  • but not 100%. Last Sunday at the Honolulu Triathlon while my bike was in the transition area someone stole a brand new Tufo Tubular tire off my bike. Yes, I am sure I did not lose it on the course. Anyone else ever have this happen? Am I the only one ever? I hope I am.

Oh that sucks. I’m sorry to hear that, and I commend you for putting a positive spin on this.

Just think, it could have been much worse. God knows what valuables we all bring in our bags into the transition area. And it’s all sitting out there “for the taking”. Makes you want to race even faster so you can get your stuff out of there sooner, doesn’t it?

Now, nobody saw it happen? was it a spare you were carrying or was it mounted to your wheel? That is just appalling.

Please do not attempt to sully the reputation of the clincher drivers amongst us. 100% of clincher drivers are good people!
