If you’re like me and you are trying to increase your running cadence (and you should be unless you already run at 90 or above), try this playlist. These songs range from about 88 to 92 bpm, starting at the slow end and hitting a peak at the hoodoo gurus and “It isn’t True” and then slowing back down. It’s alot more fun than listening to a metronome!
Romeo & Juliet (Dire straits)
Mr. Blue Sky (ELO)
Keep on Movin, Red Red Wine (UB40)
In Your Eyes (Peter Gabriel)
Dreaming in Metaphors (Seal)
Turning Japanese (Vapors)
Spark Plug (Radiators)
Santeria (Sublime)
Rat in the Kitchen (UB40)
I want You Back (Hoodoo Gurus) - (my vote for the best 80s pop song you probably never heard unless you’re from Oz)
It isn’t True (Ub40)
Alison (Elvis Costello)
Basket Case (Green Day)
it’s about 58 minutes total
Can’t remember any specific Hoodoo Guru songs, but this Canadian boy owned Mars Needs Guitars. There were certainly better 80’s rock bands though - early INXS, Midnight Oil and - the best of the bunch in my opinion - The Church. Oh, and the Saints (they had an album called Prodigal Son I think - that was a good one).

Mars is probaby their best - want you back came from their first album stoneage romeos. I agree the Oils and early INXS are great too. Not big on The Church. I love listening to the Oils and/or Gurus to get pumped before a race or workout.
