My gym has 2 pool and indoor lap pool and an outside one. Some bastard kid threw up in the indoor pool so they closed it and forced everybody to swim in the outdoor pool. I’m spending some time in Houston so the water had all day to boil. I got in at 5pm and it was 88 degrees!
I am so tired after my swim. I felt like I was swimming in a hot tub
oh my, that sounds terrible. It is really hard to swim fast in hot water.
That’s the water temperature I’m going to be swimming in until early September in an outdoor ‘unheated’ pool.

The pool at my Naval Station is routinely 85 or higher. Kind of sucks, but I like swimming outside.
Yeah, I hear you. When I was visiting my parents last winter, I was swimming in a pool that was listed at 85-89. But on top of that, there was a sauna ON the pool deck, about five feet from the water. After about 2000 yards I could just feel myself sloooowwwing down.

I’ve swum laps in a 90+ pool. I had to stand up in the shallow every few laps to cool down.
