7lb Road Bike?

Is this the new world record?
.

according to lightweightgallery.com, yes.
the old one was IIRC, 7.82 lbs.

seat’s too high.

and, actually, isn’t the chain a bit short? it’s hard to tell which rear cog it’s on, and yeah, it’s in the big ring, but that rear der really looks like it’s straining. i guess those missing links put it over (under?) the top?

That is pretty cool, but I’d rather have a bike a pound or two heavier with my 10 speed (rather than 6 like this bike has) STI-style shifters.

But it does look cool.

Did anyone else catch the cable specs? “Pneumatic hose” as housing? Probably not a big deal as shift cable housing but I would prefer to have my brake components designed for braking.

I guess pnuematic will have to do until Shimano comes out withthe wireless brake caliper
.

why are you trying to drive STer’s to your own website by posting pics there?

I tried to add it to my shopping cart and the button isn’t working. Can you fix it please?

Probably b/c it’s driven from a CMS system…

Pretty trick lil bike, but can you actually ride that? My guess is it wouldn’t last 2 laps at Tues Night Worlds with Hill racing it. ;o)

When you include the weight of air you are a pathetic soul in need of getting laid.

It only has six speed…welcome to 1989. All it needs is some “Drillium” parts.
