My next door neighbor is selling his lightly used spinergy rev-x 650 tubulars wheels. No casette, no skewers. I checked them out yesterday and the continental sprinters on them look brand new and the wheels looked to be in excellent shape.

Here’s the good part, he’s only looking to get $250 for the set. Hell the tires are worth almost $200!

are spynergy rev-x wheels safe?
I have not heard that they are prone to failure if that’s what you mean. I wouldn’t try to sell anyone something that was broken or unsafe. If someone knows of problems and how to identify them, I’ll look at the wheels again and check.
The wheels are perfectly safe if they are in good condition. Because they are so light if one of the carbon speaks were to be cracked or splintering, then yes the wheel could fail, as opposed to a wheel like and H3 that is more heavily built which could still run fine with some delamination. However, if the wheels are in good condition and nome of the carbon fiber is cracked or splintered then they are a great wheel.
