60 days to "fix" foreign relations

Well one thing the left crowed about during and after the election was how O would totally fix our foreign relations. The US would once again be respected in the world. He would simply be able to talk to our enemies and everything would be all peachy keen.

Well I know its only been 60 days so we surely can’t expect him to have fixed everything. But like I said when we were discussing the economy, things can be fucked up alot faster than they can be fixed. Here is an article about what has been going on regarding foreign relations in the last 2 months.

Here are a couple nice little quotes. He goes on to detail numerous blunders.

“All new administrations stumble a bit as they seek their footing. But President Obama’s foreign-policy botches have set new records for instant incompetence.”
**
“Contrary to left-wing myths, I wasn’t a fan of the Bush administration. (I called for Donald Rumsfeld to get the boot in mid-2001.) But fair’s fair. Despite his many faults, Bush sought to do good. Obama just wants to look good.”
**
*"*Vice President Dick Cheney was arrogant. Vice President Joe Biden is arrogant and stupid. Take your pick."
**
"Don’t worry about the new administration’s ideology. Worry about its terrifying naivete. "

Yes with all the problems at home it’s more important to worry about our Foreign relationships… I read a quote from Obama that said “Washington is like American Idol, except everybody is Simon Cowell” This is another perfect example, the guy has passed some meaningful, powerful legislation (whether you agree with it or not) in the first 60 days but he sucks because he pissed of the British PM… There’s always the critics…

I don't know that there is anything good from this admin's FP so far; could be no fruit, but some "thaw" in relationships that will show up down the road. OTOH, there has been damage, from a weaker appearance and basis to work from to insults to traditional allies, to Mexico slapping tarriffs on some or our goods because Obama cow-towed to labor and stopped Mexican trucks from being able to work across the border (in violation of NAFTA).
I imagine there's plenty, good and bad, that I have missed, but it's not like nothing has happened, or that what has been done has had no effect. It's still the first 100 days though, so shame on you for saying anything.

Unfortunately, the job includes doing all of it.

don’t forget the Russians, I’m pretty sure Hillary pissed them off too. On the plus side, this administration has kissed ass to the Chinese because, after all, someone needs to fund our spending spree.
