It’s gonna be a hot one. I keep hoping that Barry takes the water temp at a reasonable spot and that it’s over 78. Did the S-n-S last week in a skin suit and was GLAD I did not wear a wetsuit. A bit too toasty for me.
I’ll be there “backing you up” from several thousand feet behind you. Let me know if you need anything :</ It’s my first long event, and I am excited, but my ankle is not. It may be a very very slow run segment, although I am hoping tape and ibuprofen will keep me at my regular pace.
I’m coming. This is my first HIM and I’m just hoping to have enough left for a decent run. I did the Loveland Lake 2 Lake and went too hard on the bike and had a horrible run.
My wife and I are coming up from Albuquerque for the race. It will be hotter in Boulder on Sunday than it will be back home. I am thinking of running with an umbrella for some shade. Can we get IV bags at the aid stations in addition to water and Gatorade?
I’m on the other side of MarkyV for wetsuits - between my 6’4" legs and poor form I LOVE the wetsuit and hope it stays in the 74 deg. range so I can wear it. I am cool with it if we don’t get to wear them, but it is easier for me to swim lazy with the wetsuit - with out it I actually have to think about what I am doing in order to post a decent time (for me).
