With all due respect to the late Blazeman, I must admit that I cringed just a bit when I saw him do that (get down and roll) at the finish line of Kona. Seemed very silly and possibly obstructive to others. Apparently Scott Jurek has done that a few times after he finished (well, actually, WON) the Western States 100. It just seems silly regardless of who you are. But hey, whatever works for ya.

Wonderful idea…I’ve added my brother’s name. His courage inspires me on a daily basis.
It was thoughts of him that got me across the finish line at IMAZ when a DNF was more likely on that particular day.

Don’t hesitate to add as many names as you wish. It would be way cool to race with over 500 names and be an advocate for as many honorees as possible. It’s like I told Tri_Gear this morning, “I’ll carry a suitcase of names if that’s what it takes.” So, please add more because when it comes to this good thing… there is always room for more.
