Gary Hall, Jr is pissed off, and I think he will win to prove himself. He also has the fastest 50 of anyone this year. After that, I have no idea. It’s the 50, anything can happen. One of the reasons, along with the complete absence of fast twitch muscles, that made me hate the race.

And, I would have said the same before knowing the results of the prelims.

Did you ever do a stroke count on Popov from the TV?

I’d be interested to see if it is “TI” since he is used as the ultimate example and the other swimmers, like the Thorpedo, seem to debunk the TI theory…which is looking more an more like a marketing thing for newbies
